Detailed Information:
The emerging field of Clean Technology has received strong support from industry and the most prominent political leaders in the nation (from both parties).
California Clean Innovation 2007 (CACI) provides an unprecedented opportunity for attendees to expand their knowledge of the clean technology landscape, network with industry leaders, and participate in a fast pitch business case competition. CACI’s day-long conference will review the current state of the Clean Technology sector, explore applications on the horizon, and discuss the importance of each discipline & success factor across the clean tech value chain. Two vital segments, Energy and Transportation, will be the primary focus of this event.
The conference has been organized by MBAs and Faculty/Staff from the following university programs: Center for the Science & Engineering of Materials at Caltech, UCLA Anderson School of Management, and the Rady School of Management at UCSD. These programs have joined forces to showcase a wider breath of clean tech research & development and strengthen partnerships across several leading CA universities. Such an effort is expected to support the deployment of current clean technologies and growth of new markets, highlighting California’s key role as a global market leader.
The event will also provide an exclusive opportunity for venture capitalists and professional investors to become exposed to up-and-coming clean tech concepts and entrepreneurs.
